315 x 1

i wouldn't consider that as a weak workout..for me at least. well, nothing wrong with laying off the holidays and drinking some, sleeping less and eating crappy ass junks. you're strong as hell still. get back up !!

1-8-07 Chest

Flat Bench: 240 x 6 x 6
Decline DB Press: 75 x 15 x 15 (these always feel awkward)
Incline DB Press: 60 x 18 x 18
Flat DB Flyes: 40 x 10 x 10 (extremely deep stretch)

agreed that decline benching feels weird and Damn that's a nice rep set on the incline db..good job!

here's a question:

when you're using 100lbs dumbbells. is it still possible to lower it to the point that you can get a stretch or is it not possible due to the DB being longer with plates?

It's still possible with the 100s, I imagine at 150s or 200s it would be difficult. I recall in Ronnie Coleman's DVD where he presses the 200s he can't get them down very far.

1-9-07 Back

Deadlifts: 515 x 2
DB Rows: 120 x 10 x 10
Rack Chins: BW x 10 x 10 (damn these are hard for some reason, or else I was smoked from the rows)

thanks for the info, stringie. i don't do rack chins because I feel my feet are being used to cheat on those.

My lats feel a lot more worked doing them. On regular chins it feels like my whole body is doing the work, and my shoulders start to hurt also.

1-13-07 Legs

Squats (belted and wrapped)
375 x 5

DB Lunges
85 x 16

Seated Calves

how much time do you spend in the gym, bro?

Most of my workouts are about an hour. I'd be in and out rather fast but I spend a lot of time warming up. Warmups for squats and deads usually take me 20-25 minutes.
