Congrats on the PRage.

leg press is what messed my hip up. Going heavy and too far down.

I used to nearly roll out of the seat at the bottom as I'd put my knees into my chest and crush my stomach and ribs...but had trouble pushing eight plates. I now go slower and and come down just to where my ass starts to roll out of the seat then push back up. Obviously I can now push more weight and hopefully this is going to continue to push my poor squat up.

Yeah, be careful with the legpress. Never have your ass roll off the seat in that position you just described; it will lead to a lot of spine/hip injuries.
 
thanks guys, i was obviously wasting my time before on the presses....couldn't figure how people could put on so many many plates...i think i was a little dense into the "full range of motion" shit on this one. It's fixed now and legs are getting stronger.
 
it's just a time thing bro...stay with it, be consistant and results will come. I kinda enjoy lifting by myself these days because I can go at my own pace, I don't have to compromise my workout plans with what someone else wants to do, and I can turn my music up pretty loud and just zone everything else out, especially cause the gym music is kinda euro dance-ish.

That's good. 1088lb for me now, but I think I can pull 12 lbs more on deads. We're pretty same #s except your bench is bigger and my squat is bigger.
