Cut Diet and getting Abs showing

Well my unintentional bulking cycle worked to the tune of 8lbs. Somehow im guessing its not 8lbs of lbm hahaha time to whip my ass into gear. Hardcore the next 2 weeks till i get back to my normal weight.

Wonder what the damage would have been had i not done 2 hours of cardio every day for the last week. I went completely overboard 3 of the seven days.
 
So today was a real clean day of eating.

2,447 63.3f 153.9carb 313.7p

3J, at one point you said you wanted me to start getting all my fat from my proteins. Right now my fat source is Olive Oil, Protein, Almonds and Oatmeal along with the fish oil capsules I take. Should i drop the EVOO and the fish oil capsules? Since im going to go hardcore for the next two weeks im wondering if now would be a good time to do that or just stay with what got me there?

New weight is 189 and my weight before my trip was 179. I gotta say i look damn good up top but my abs kinda look softer than they were. Wife says i look better now but I want abs damnit so im gonna get abs :)

Tell me about it lol. Man it happened so fast, hopefully it comes off easily. I was surprised, i knew i ate alot and expected to gain a couple but shit i did 2 hours of cardio a day. Didnt help much lol.

im actually thinking this would be a GOOD thing for you.. watch the weight come off cuz you did a bit of a super refeed.. you should be fine.. just get back on track

Seeing as your going to school for this shit you have probably already read this book but my son brought a book home from school called Nutrition for life. Its awesome, if you haven't read it you would love it. describes all of this stuff in great detail.

Well 6 days of double cardio sessions and VERY clean eating and ive dropped most of the extra lbs i put on. Dropped 6 lbs of the 8 i put on, i suspect alot of it was water because of all the beef jerky i ate on the ride.

Weird thing is i feel the 2 lbs, it feels like its in my stomach but my pants are telling me differently. My pants are loose, my upper body looks bigger. I wish my clean bulk worked as well as my dirty bulk lol.

Either way I think im back on track will see where we are a week from now.
 
Ok 3J I need some help here, I've noticed after a few big eating sessions I look noticibly bigger and bulkier but I also put it on around my waist so for the last week I've upped my calories and increased my cardio (still doing double sessions of cardio) only problem is since doing the extra cardio my weight has remained at 179. I was hoping to put on a pound or two but keep my waist in check. Seems like all I'm doing is burning off the extra calories I'm consuming. What's the right approach to put on more size but keep my waist in check?

My current diet is roughly 2800-2900 calories and consists of roughly 300+p/300+c/50-60f

I say plus but it's pretty close to 300 it may vary as much as 310-320 but it's pretty close to 300.

All good protien, carbs and fat.

Like I said, physically I look much better after a huge day if eating but if I don't keep up the heavy cardio my waist also suffers.

tell ya what ur not eating enough!!!

so here's what i want u to do.. add 200 calories a day, every week, untill u start gaining 1lb a week.. simple as that... it just takes patience.

i think u'll start gaining weight around 3500 calories.. but lets do it slow.. so 200 calories daily rise in intake.. up it every 7 days

u can take your carbs up.. but i would work the fats first.. 200 calories = about 22g fat roughly

Alright 3J after 4 months of the same foods i think i need to mix this up a bit. I dont think I can go another 4 months eating oats, yams and brown rice. Im pretty darn happy with my weight and BF% and dont wanna screw that up. Would it be a mistake to go keto or low carb for a month orso? My plan is to bulk sep/oct.

Not sure if should expect to lose anymore weight on keto? I dont mind a few lbs either way but i like where i am right now.
