MOM's 1-T/Epistane log

Log looks good MoM.. great job on limiting shakes and eating more whole foods. Thats what I do as well, especially when cutting. I might drink a few shakes a week just to plug the holes when I'm on the go/super busy or training twice a day.
Is this your second or third time running the epistane?
 
Thanks for stopping in JayC. I've missed seeing you on the boards. This is my second run of epistane. I can already tell that upping the dose was a good thing.

Yes, if I was going to run Epi I would definetly run the higher end dosing.
 
meal 1: 3/4 cup cottage cheese 3/4 cup oats 16 oz green tea

meal 2: 1 can tuna 12 oz apple juice 1/2 cup oats

meal 3: 16oz chocolate milk 1 banana nut odwalla bar (at school)

meal 4: 20 oz 2% milk 1/2 cup oats 1 large banana

meal 5: 1 can tuna 12 oz apple juice 1/2 cup oats

meal 6: 3/4 cup cottage cheese 1 granola bar 16 oz green tea

meal 7: 5 scrambled eggs 2 pieces whole wheat toast with butter and strawberry preserves water

meal 8: 1/4 bag blue corn chips with salsa con queso and 2 scoops whey/casien protein

meal 9: 6oz yogurt 1 nature valley yogurt/granola bar 16 oz green tea

How much protein do you estimate you're eating day to day? I'm absolutely no expert, and your diet's obviously working for you, I just feel like someone at your weight would need much more protein.

You have my day's food intake there, feel free to calculate it out. Something I've discussed in my previous logs is my feeling that we as bodybuilders take in much more protein than we can use. I've taken in 400-500 grams in the past and since coming down to around the 300 mark there is much less stress on my digestive system and I have a lot more energy.
 
Day 30 1-T Day 9 Epistane

squats 135 x5 225 x3 315 x2 405 x1 455 x1(belted) 495x1 - my buddy gave me a little boost on the lockout. Not sure I needed help but it was not a good squat. I was wearing terrible shoes for squatting and I should have wrapped up my knees.

I've got a couple question about the epistane, How many bottles of it did you buy? Two? So your taking 6 of them a day to meet the 60mg e/d requirement?

Everything feels great. The Epistane is in full effect and I think I should be seeing some strength gains soon. I have been very run down and lethargic lately which is probably because I'm gaining size. I can literally feel my muscles growing.
 
Day 36 1-T Day 15 Epistane

Upper body strength

bench 135 x6 225 x3 275 x2 315 x1 345 x1 365 x1 385 x1 - Spotter nudged me a little on the lockout. I told him to give me a liftoff and he didn't, and when I brought the bar to my chest I did it in an arching motion instead of a straight line. The weight felt good though.
narrow grip cable low rows 100 x15 150 x15 200 x15 x20 x26 - not taking any chances with my bicep, I really want this thing to heal
hammer strength military press 2 plates per side x5 3 plates x5 3 plates+35 x6

Day 39 1-T Day 18 Epistane (yesterday's workout)

Lower body strength

front squats 135 x3 225 x2 275 x2 315 x2 365 x1.5 (no belt) I when I went down for the second rep the bar slipped so I just set it on the pins. I was pretty pissed because I wanted to go for 3 because the weight felt easy.

Alright....so thats a good shpeal about your workout routine. I'm more interested in finding out how 1-t and epistane are working for you....... How are you feeling? Have you gained weight? If so, is it clean? Noticible increase in strength? I'm not trying to bash but all you've really told us is that "your noticing the effects" but your not being specific.

I haven't suddenly gotten weaker on the cybex machines, I was at my school and these are different than the ones I normally use. It's amazing how much harder some machines are to others relative to weight. I'm about halfway through my epistane run.

Sorry about that I didn't even notice you posted. If you have actually been following my log post to post, which you obviously haven't, you can see I've made various comments about the effects of both drugs as time has gone by. The 1-T doesn't seem to be doing a whole lot. When I first started I noticed a decent kick in sex drive but little else as far as tangible gains until the addition of the epistane. With the epistane I'm noticing a lot of the same thing I did on my first run. Muscles are harder and more dense. Pumps are better. Strength is up a bit, but not as much as I'd anticipated. I've gained at least five pounds and haven't added any fat. I am suspicious that the scale at my parents house is unreliable, but they have a new one coming so I will try that out when it arrives. One last thing to note is I've finally noticed a sharp decrease in post workout soreness and recovery time.
 
After posting I found out the new scale was already here. I weighed 270 on the old scale and 269 on the new one 5 meals into my day's 9. Looks like I've gained around 13 lbs. It's odd because I don't feel like I weigh quite that much, but it's been a while since I was this heavy so maybe I've forgotten what it feels like.
