It really depends on the muscle group I am working, and what kind of weight I am lifting.
Heavier weights w/ compound exercises, I usually take a 2-3 minute break.
For the smaller groups It is more like 1-2 minutes.
As I get closer to a show, I try to speed that time up as well.
