yup. LIGHTWEIGHT!
Thats a mental thing actually. Screaming out light weight when you lift, even when you know it's really not light at all, gives you a mental boost and helps out a lot.
It also gets peoples attention, so they can stare at you when you're pulling 250+ :D

And thanks Luq!!!
.8 meaning I got it to the very end and then jerked it up, so I don't count it as a full repp. It's actually closer to .9 but I didn't complete a full rep. I'll upload the vid and send it to you.
Lol I wish I got 285 for 8. Soon I will

Will edit log soon, need to charge my phone

Worked out today. It went well. Took last week off. Too much going on. Good things, nothing bad, but too much to do, too little time

Todays workout: Back
Rack deads
135x5 warmup
185x5 225x5 275x5 295x2 PR
Hyper extensions x10
Lat pulldowns 60x20 warmup
150x4 75x20
Bicep DB curls 15x10 warmup
30x5 each arm, 30x5 40x4
Hip ab/ad
70x20 each

I dont want to disturb you but do you really scream out light weight when you lift? You know people probably look at you because they know that ronnie says that.

LOL. Again, just a training tip. Sorry to disturb.

i do say/yell lightweight nowadays on my lifts. i don't care..it's a psych out for me...and helps a bit with my lifts. you mano, been busy huh

Jusee, I do yell a lot and make noise when im lifting heavy, whether it be screaming as I'm exhaling or shouting LIGHT WEIGHT etc.

I love the attention, cuz everyone looks at me, stops doing their bicep curls, and gets an idea of what real strength is. It makes me feel good that I am doing a real workout.
I also love it when people look at me when I'm doing ass to grass squats, because they stand there and feel like idiots that they only go down about 4 inches

I've taken the last 3 weeks off. Got lots going on, no sleep, etc

Will start up soon.
Doesn't feel like I've lost any stretgth at all

Back in the gym

12/05/06 - Back
Deads
135x10 warmup, 185x5, 225x3, 245x1, 295x1PR 315miss*
BB rows
Barx10 x10 x10 for stretching
Bicep curls light
25x12

*295 was pretty easy, and I wasn't expecting to lift so much. I got a little too confident and went straight up to 3 plates, 315, and completely missed. Got about an inch off the ground and felt my back being ripped apart so dropped it. Tried this 3 times and missed.
If I didn't get so confident and tried 300 I would've nailed it.

2 weeks from now I will try 305. Wish my luck.

Main goal now, loose weight.
I do an hour of cardio every morning on an empty stomach, and I've cleaned up my diet, sticking to mostly fruits vegetables and 1 cheat meal a day. Haven't seen any physical changes, still feel fat, but I'm keeping the motivation going

Whats up Angry. Your squats are much higher than mine. As my deads progress, everything else has dropped down and continues to drop down. 135 on the squats is heavy, 135 on the bench is heavy, no idea whats going on.

UPDATE....
I have never been so sore in my life.
I can distinguish between pain and soreness, and this is just soreness.
It's just so sore I can't move at all. I can't bend over, walk straight, move my arms, etc.
I came home early from school at about 9 a clock and I've just been sleeping since then, cuz as sore as I am I'm also really sick and needed the day off.

Thank God I didn't hurt myself yesterday, but today I can't move
