Gotcha. Deads are rough on the CNS so its good to take a break if you feel you need it. Good thing you replaced it with somthing else though.

and high reps on deads is a killer. are you squatting the weight up bro?? when will yuo dropthe reps and up the pounds???

Lol thanks man. Yeah we workout together, he remembers his lifts though I save mine to my phone. Just got too much going on with school to record here. After leg workout I will post up. Friday at last

Oh and squats... today will be a 20 repper, and next week I'll be going heavy again.
 
Yeah man it would be great to lift with you. Theres a lot of Asians at our gym, mostly friends from school. It's good to see they finally laid off the Counter Strike and found a better hobby.

Anyway, I will update soon. Many workouts to put in. I've just been really occupied with school work, and I've been sick and completely worn out lately. But after some rest and sleep on the floor I now feel great. Just trying to finish up an essay

i would say cut down your routine, stick with the basic and go heavy on them. if it doesn't work, change exercise or manipulate/play with the reps/sets. it's teh fun!!!!!

I thought you were like 30 or something..geeez :P
 
Lol I wish man. Can't wait to finish college, get married and settle down, I hate being a kid. But then again I know when I'm older I'll be missing the young days.

Yea thats true. Theres always something to do though, lots of priorities. Work on the weekends and holidays, school otherwise, and lifting too. I dropped all my other hobbies. I picked up guitar about 7-8 years ago but stopped playing that about a year ago. I left RC too.

Idk I've just always felt older then I actually am. I also grew up in the city, that could be a reason. But you're right, these are the good times

Yup... that was it... the second I finished these, after 10 minutes of being in the gym, my father needed me for an emergency. Turned out it wasn't an emergency, he just wanted my company cuz he was driving to Suffolk. Dammit. Whatever, a break is always good

Oh and I got some CARDIO in, cuz I walked a mile to Winter's house, and he gave me a ride to teh gym

135x6 (this was hard. My incline has really shot down, last time I did incline a few months ago I think I hit 165 for 6)

85x15 (light but still hard on the wrists for some reason)

I decided to have a nice relaxing chest day since every week I push myself and am burnt out. The workout may look long but it didn't even take an hour. Very short

Legs

(squats are ass to grass..)

135x6, 225x3, 235x2, 185x6
Even the 135 felt very heavy. I don't know why. Couple of weeks ago I repped it for 20. Today I got tired after 4. I guess I'm really not an endurance kind of guy, it shows from my lifts... 135 for 6 and 235 for 2. Anyway whole body was shot after these. Especially lower back.
Leg press
4 plates (460) x20

Then a bunch of other light leg work like always.
Then very little shoulder work. And thats all I can remember... I usually save my lifts to my phone but this time I forgot.

Sunday 9/10/06
Chest

Speed bench (alternating grips)
115 - 12 sets of 3 (upped the sets this time)
Lockout presses (this time I made the rack higher so instead of doing half a press it's more like a quarter. This helps target my lockouts better than the old way, in which I went down a little past 90 degrees, almost a full range of motion before. Now it's a smaller motion)
155x10, 155x10 (will do 185 next week)
Triseps
Close grip bench
125x10, 135x10

185x6, 225x6, 255x2 PR!! Yup this is a record for my d/ls. I never used to deadlift hard, I think my max before this was 235, about a year and a half ago. WOOOO

Lat pull downs (very wide and slow reps)

Traps
Seated dumbell shrugs
45x20 slow reps (helps with grip too)
Biceps
Did some light stretches since my right bicep feels torn. Don't know why. Woke up with a tear feeling and just been stretching all day. Hope it's nothing serious, could just be soreness, will let you guys know
Cardio
Elliptical
1.2 miles, 10 minutes

This workout was great. Happy with my deads. Went in feeling confident and left feeling even better. Will do deads 2 weeks from now.
Time - stretching for about 10 minutes, deads took 30 minutes, rest of the workout took about 20 minutes, and then cardio. Was done in a little over an hour.

Walking
Went around town, to the supermarket. It's a mile distance. Walking there took 20-30 minutes each way, so almost an hour in total. Bought some green tea and doggy treats.

Flat bench press

155x5, 185x3, 195x3, 225x1!!!!! no assist, but shaky. Thanks to Winter for teh motivation, I was actually being a wuss and aiming for 215. No idea I could do 225.
Incline bench press
135x6 (incline is very weak)
Incline dumbell press
40x10, 75x6
Shoulders
Dumbell shoulder press
50x4 (haven't done shldr presses since June or something)
Triseps
Diamond pushups
BWx8 (damn these are hard)

Walk
10 minutes before workout, 10 minutes after

This workout was great, took about an hour excluding walking. One thing that is wierd, my endurance keeps going down, but strength goes up. It is misinforming cuz in my begining sets I get discouraged and I'm like shit I'm getting weaker. But all of a sudden my maxes shoot up. WTF??
Example - 135x20 squats. 2 weeks later... 135x6 hard, and 235x2
Same with chest, last week I did 185 for 6, and 210 for one. Now I struggle with 185, but push 225.
Can't complain, I'm happy :goof:

This was a good workout.

New split and journal.....
-Will not do this Mon Wed Fri Sunday thing, I'll just workout every other day, and if I'm sore then take a rest day. This is easier and works better.
-Will go light every other week, and heavy other week, to avoid any back tension
-LOG - no more parantheses bs, will use *stars* as foot notes.

Good job MOW. Too bad I couldn't come with you today, I was out with my family. I needed some motivation today on my 295 bench, but no one was there except for Magic lol
 
Yeah I feel you man, there wasn't much motivation for me either. Good thing I watched PBs vids before lifting, cuz that helped my motivation during the workout.
