20 reps? Did your form get shitty at the end? I remember trying 16 rep sets on deads and my from would break down.

I was with him yesterday, his form was pretty tight; it got a little shaky near the last few reps, but the form wasn't too off.

Yea Beans, got tired after 12, after aboot 16 my form was shaky. It felt like cardio, and I was dripping sweat. But I felt really good after passing out on the leg curl machine. It's a great accomplishment for me.

Angry, I look like a lot of people lol. Sometimes I look like Jesus, sometimes a terrorist, some people even say I resemble Fabio. Wtf??

My traps are sooo sore today. This is the first time I have trap soreness just from deads, I know it's from the deads cuz I didn't do any trap work yesterday.

likewise mano. deads will do it to you. ive actually dropped shrugs and only stuck to doing deads and my traps are beggining to peak higher.
 
deads are indeed great for traps..especially when you look up.

mano, switch deads with GM every week or somthing. and video!
 
Yeah, deads are great for traps. Also genetics. My traps grow a lot and my chest doesn't.
Shrugs are a nice excersice, but I like them as grip work.
 
my chest is my genetics. ah well. whether genetics or not, just keep hitting and see what happens..if it didn't grow, hey at least you're fucking strong ^^

Thanks man. Although I used to lift a lot more, I'm happy with my lifts because I'm progressing. I'm also dissapointed in my physique but at least now I'm trying. Thanks for teh compliment.

I love deads, never stopping. Without this forum I never would've done deads. I used to do them maybe once every 6 weeks, I was always scared that they would stunt my growth. Pehe

I will be giving GMs soon, I just want to get my form down first so I don't hurt something. Oh and about videos, I really want to start recording my workouts. Only my gym is filled with arrogant little kids that will mock my use of a camera, and I also have no place to set it up. Soon though I'll start recording

Yea my grip is getting stronger from everything actually, not really a problem anymore. Seated shrugs really get the shit outta me. Standing shrugs don't get me because I can't pull optimum weight without straps. I remember in India when I used straps and gloves and roids n stuff, I repped 125s for shrugs.

Cardio (I'm serious... I really did cardio!)

2 miles, 15 minutes (I've done 2 miles in under 10 minutes but I wasn't pushing myself that much)

Good and tiring workout. Next week no deads, my body needs a break

Chest

Flat bench press

155x6, 185x5, 210x1 no assist (Little pissed, was trying for more. Probably lack of sleep)

75x5.9 (got stuck right at the very end, was holding for about 10 seconds, told my spot to fuck off cuz I didn't want an assist. Was very proud to withstand such a beating)

5 minutes - 17 flights of steps climbed (this was hard and killed my legs)

Abs

Don't feel like logging. Consisted of 10 minutes of upper abs, 20 minutes of lower abs, no rest at all, and 10 minutes of obliques. Really killed myself, but felt good.

5 minutes cool down on small incline at 2mph

Break from deads? Well I've been killing myself every single week with these high reppers. It may look easy with the light weight but I'm struggling my ass off. So I decided to take a break.

Or maybe you meant why the workout was so short. I had to leave as soon as I finished the rows, my dad needed me
