good light squats way deep.hadn't done em in awhile feelin it today.for not going as heavy as normal i still got some soreness.now nothing to do for a whole week just chill out and eat my wheaties.i figure i'll open at 325# then go 355# then all out if i miss i miss.i have a 385#pr touch and go so some where around that.
 
well the meet was real small!not one person in my weight class.the whole thing was over in a hour maybe two.it was cool nic folks and they had a spread of food too!a couple of records set for real young guys.one kid i think he was 14 put up 320#he weighted 174#.that was the best lift of the day.the heaviest went to a guy who just missed 242# class but was older than me i think he was sub masters he did 405# like it was nothing cause agin nobody in his class and called it a day.i hit 350#slow as hell and shut her down.

long day and i'm sore as a bitch on the backs of my arms.
 
it really hurts and takes awhile to get warm.i probally should put it on the shelf for a few weeks,but i aint the smartest guy in the world.i ice it and eat ibuprofen every day.going to the doc soon i had a cortisone shot about 6 months ago and i needs one again!the mri didn't really show a tear but i'm impinged pretty good.it is really stupid for me to continue to lift really heavy but what'ya do?i had my left operated on awhile back and i'll be damned if i cut this one before i absolutely can't do shit!
 
Well, I'm just getting started recently so I didn't have much to loose, but when my shoulder started hurting, I knew I needed to leave it alone until it got better (that is, so that is COULD get better). And it did, although it took nearly a month.

Did they inject that cortisone right into the muscle that hurts?

At least you are icing it if it is imflammed. Standard procedure that most people just don't follow. Many people apply heat. That might feel good, but it doesn't do much for the muscle at all.

caught the flu last week killed me couldn't eat and weighed 226# today.got some intresting news on my shoulder a slight tear in the superspinatues whatever thing.got some dope in there it feels fine right now but the heavy workouts will slow for awhile.my new thing will be a 3 day split back/bi's,chest tri's,and legs light band stuff for the ole shoulder.the doc tells me it aint gonna get better till he cuts,but thats what butters his bread and i aint doin it till it kills me.i'll slow it up some keep up the ice and ibuprofen and some cuf work and light recupe stuff.i had the other one cut before and i just aint doin this one yet!if yall got some suggestions please give them.
 
time to buy a bench shirt. a good shirt takes a lot of the shoulder beating from benching for you.

you got some guys to train shirt with? i know there are some PLers in Va beach.

gingerly working out!the close grips were actually nice not alot of pain involved.the flyes were just to stretch out those joints.as you can tell the weights are way down.

really good pull off the floor sort of a pr.i hit it a few weeks back but not real clean.this time it was nice.i should be back to where i was before the back injury real soon with the squat as well as those deads.
