Tuesday- Day 59

Dbol- 40mg
Nolva- 20mg

Training- Chest/Biceps
Pretty good workout. I kept it short, but intense. I did BB press for the first time in like 1.5 yrs. I wanted to see what I could get up. I was very surprised. My max b4 was like 335-350, so I was very happy about my lift. I am going to stick with BB for a month or so and see if I can get over the 400 mark!

Flat BB Press- 135x12; 225x10; 275x8; 325x3; 375x1
Incline BB Press- 185x10; 225x10; 275x5
Incline DB Flys- 45x10; 55x10; 65x10; 75x6

Standing BB Curl- 75x12; 85x10; 95x8
Incline DB Curls- 30x10; 35x10; 45x7
Standing Cable
Double Bicep Curl-45x10; 50x9; 55x8

Comments- I noticed that my waist is getting a little smaller. Which is a good thing. So I don't know if it is the Xenadrine or the Arimidex that is doing this. Either way, as long as it is working!

Mike - I have a question for you.

I noticed you doing seated DB presses with 115 lbs. (Impressive!) Last night I graduated up to the 100 lbs DB's for my seated press. I squeezed out eight reps, the last two of which were pretty frikkin shaky!

Anyhow, my question: How the hell do you get the DB's up into position to start pressing? I mean, obviously I managed to get the 100's up into position. But it wasn't pretty. And I'm sure I could go a few pounds heavier if I wasn't expending so much energy (physical and mental) just getting the DB's into starting position. So how do you do it? Just fling/muscle them up like I do? Or do you know a trick?

Wed.- Day 60

Dbol- 40mg
Arimidex- .5mg
Test-250mg
EQ-200mg

Training- Day Off

Comments- Feeling good now that I am back on Dbol. Plus the water retension is going away. So I am feeling very good right about now.
I saw a friend today, he is getting ready for the California. He is about 4 weeks out and looking phenominal. He is hopefully going to win the light-heavy!!
He was trippin out on how much size I have put on. Plus I showed him I still had abs and he was pretty impressed. So it made me feel good!!

Damn no shit, I used to work in Hayward (years ago), I'm near San Fran/Daly Shitty now though :)

Hey Mike,

I just read your log for the first time. I am going on week 5 of 500wk sust and 30 mg dbol ed. I am having the same lower back pump problem you had. I mean severe! It's screwing up my whole workout and I have to do all my exercises sitting down. I had to stop running on the tread mill, too.

I am only taking the dbol for one more week if I can handle it. I am really looking forward to this agony going away. I tried two different kinds of dbol so it's not one particular brand that does it.
Oh well, I guess it's the price you pay for being a monster!

Congrats on the success of the cycle.

Yep that is one of the drwbacks to dbol. You get great pumps, but that also means lower back pumps that make you want to cry sometimes!!LOL

Thusday- Day 61

Dbol- 40mg
Nolva- 20mg

Training- Day Off- Feeling Sick

Comments- Today started out good. It was career day at work so I brought my son with me. It was really fun. After lunch I started to feel sick. I felt really weak and worn down. Luckily my gf was there to drive home. I was supposed to do legs, but I could not even keep awake.
My ass was hurting too from the injection on Wed. night.

Friday- Day 62

Dbol- 40mg
Arimidex- .5mg
Nolva- 20mg

Training- Day off

Comments- I had taken today off from work. It was me and my gf's anniversary yesterday, so we took today off to celebrate. I still felt out of it. I was still really tired and just not feeling good.
My ass was really hurting today. I could not lay on it and it was hard to even walk right. Hopefully by tomorrow it will feel better.

No kidding. The worst part is squirming in the seat of my car driving home from the gym. Sitting at a long stoplight with a d-bol back pump on is torture.

what about the look the little old ladies in the gym give you after you squat and then youve got to lay down between sets until your back can stand another set

Hah! You KNOW me! I'm not too embarrassed to lie flat on my back under the squat cage between sets, letting the cold steel Diamond-Plate platform rejuvinate what's left of my lumbar area. Sometimes I fantasize about the bar falling on my head so I won't have to do any more sets, but then I remember that the safety bars would still protect me.

Also in the no-fun category -- loading up the decline leg press to do calves, on d-bol, after having done squats and SLDLs. "Ouch, I think I'll stop at 9 plates/side today!"

Gawd I love d-bol!

At my gym, no little old ladies venture down to the dungeon where the squat rack and other implements for serious lifters are hidden, they stay upstairs with the cardio and Cybex and Butt-Blaster. That way the old ladies' sensibilities won't be permanently damaged by the sight, sounds, and smells of sweaty, hairy men lifting heavy things and scratching themselves in unmentionable places. The hot fitness babes and female BBs seem to like the dungeon just fine though...

Oops, sorry Mike, didn't mean to hijack your thread...
