be gald to start back squatting heavy once this bench meet is done. less than 4 weeks out now.
 
nope, should be here next day or two.

kyle and brett started wearing their's yesterday. they both looked very strong on squats. kyle woprked up to 595 plus 165# chains for a set of 6. brett (181er) hit 445 + chains for a set of 6 as well. wpo is 11 or 12 weeks out.

kyle attempted his 1st 805 bench last friday. he didnt get it but he knows what it feels like now. i asked him wtf he been eating? he's already totaled 2490 in the gym. if he can put a good meet together (6 of 9 or better) at the semis travis' 220 record could fall. travis is going 242 at the semis. they are good freinds and prolly wont compete against each other anymore. each can go, a big 220, 242, or a light 275. if and when kyle breaks travis' record then kyle will move up and travis wiil drop back down and try to get it back. good sportsmanship from two good freinds.

i am very fortunate to be surrounded by greatness. many folks never get the opportunity to train with wpo caliber lifters. its a huge benefit for me. they have helped me more than i can ever help them and when they make suggestions i say alright and do what they say without question. the stuff travis changed on my deads is starting to feel good. deads again this thursday, i'm looking forward to it.

kyle is trying the predator. brett had on metal yesterday. kyle is goona use karin's canvas squat suit, shes making him one now. brett is going with metal for the wpo. he squatted in RDC at the seniors, suit was about 2 years old. he could easlily go 850ish in this new setup. brett injured his pec a couple weeks ago so he wont be doing any benching for another few weeks and no raw work till after wpo.
 
the preds are supposed to be bad ass..same material as the Rage bench shirts..
im happy with Metal especailly the Viking line..one day ill get around to trying some different gear

hey pb, going heavy with the db for chest a good alternative if I have no one to spot with flat bench and incline? hit the chest hard with db and maybe finish up with some moderate weight on flat bench and incline?

yall got a power rack? if so bench in it with pins set at chest level.

i use a spot on db work too.

I forgot about using the power rack, never crossed my mind. Thats my only problem, I lift by myself and its hard to just grab someone and ask for a spot, most of them don't know what they are doing or I personally just don't trust. My chest is my weakest body part, thats why I'm in such a bind, thanks for your help.
