7/21/05 thurs:
deads from floor (form work) 405# x 5, 495# 2 x 5reps, 585# x 2, raw w/belt
45° hypers blue band 2 x 15reps
seated abs 170# 2 x 20reps
seated cable rows 300# x 6

worked on the tips and techniques travis showed us. a little awkward but felt fine.
 
my computer is slow i'm still dial up no dsl so the clip was weird but i got the just of it.i have tried those ghr's and they are hard to do right to me,mayve not doing it right.
 
7/25/05 mon:
squats 505# x 6 raw, belt + wraps. tweaked right quad on set 2
leg press 980# x 20
add/abductors seated machine 190# x 25 ea.
reverse hypers 270# + 2 purlpe bands 2 x 10reps
seated abs 190# 2 x 20reps
 
7/26/05 tues:
flat pause bench 315# 3 x 5reps, 365# x 3
flat db hammer grip 120# x 8, 6
cabel push downs wide grip 150# 2 x 25reps
front raises db 30# x 10, 35# x 10
side raises db 35# x 10, 40# x 5
pull-a-parts green band 2 x 20reps
 
yo pb you keep calling your sled work cardio how is it done,you just walk with hooked to your belt or holding the strap over your head or hooked to your anles ?you jog,fast walk or just walk?
 
I don't see anyone jogging with a sled, but I've never had the privledge of uisng a sled, so perhaps I should shut my mouth.
 
load it up and walk. you aint gonna be runing with 4 plates on a 45lb sled. we do these and truck pull/push. very taxing strength, endurance and cardio wise.

we use a shoulder harness for the truck pull and hook the sled to a belt.

naw im already warm from the shirt work. going up 30lbs per week on the shirt work. start cutting reps either this week or next week. depends on how the 525 goes ths week. id love to get 3 x 5reps on that. the 495s were about 3" high. and thats with me trying hard to touch. looks like 585 may be what it takes to touch. using a higher groove as well. looked back thru my journals and the 495 x 5 was a rep pr, esp for 3 sets. course it was the first time i tried it too. this training cycle is different from the last two bench meets. still experimenting around. i peaked out 2 weeks early last meet. its tough being old. this old body is so damn fickle.

so far. i beleive he prefers karin's shirts but since he's sponsored by metal..........

karins shirts are the heat if you can get it fitted properly. of course the only other ones have used are inzer dd and rage x dbl poly.

my new trainer came in the mail today. :D karins singly ply denim. yeah haw. i tried to get it on. too much ass. look forward to trying it out next week. never squatted in a trainer before. never pulled in one either. i had another karins trainer but it was way too small so i gave it away.

wife is in bad shape, just got home from surgery so ill be house bound today for sure. no squats. =0(

ive heard good things about the denim briefs..so good that they actually say double ply is WAY to much lol
