top end work. i have good speed off my chest. i focussed on low end work this training cycle and neglected my top end work. glad it happened though. good learning experience.

im trying it out, its not my idea at all. but anyway instead of having my weight on my butt and traps ill have it on my traps and feet. my ass will be barely on the bench. its very uncomforatble but worked yesterday with light raw stuff. it also helps to keep shoulders shrugged back. i have a tendoncy to relax them which lengthens the stroke as you know.

we'll see what happens with it. i have to work on groin flexabilty as well to have a wider base. 2 more shirted benches till the next meet. its a charity event nonsanctioned meet so ill deffinately try it there. dont have another full power meet planned til january.

skipped abs, sore lower ab
 
i have missed it several times over the last couple of years but nailed it tonight. the tips travis showed me made a big diference. i was beginning to think id never pull 7 but after today, 7 plus a bunch more on the way hopefully. it absolutely flew off the floor, never slowed down.

whats the "thn blue" band??
ill tell you this my bench felt the best ever about 1-3 weeks after i did that little speed band phase..im gonna try to tweak it for the next comp whether its Oct 1 or something in novi
 
still havent heard from the meet promoters?

thin blue is monster mini.

i downloaded a chart for band tension. i know why i got squashed now, approx 825# at lockout. =0l

hmm only 825??? lol
actually they just made a post at apf outlaws and cleared everything ip so it looks like its on :)

i did 7 with bands but had no idea what it was. :D

the purple+green+135 is around 7 at lockout, acording to this chart. i have to check some measurements to be sure but its close.

good luck bubba. 1848 qualifies you for the seniors.

no abs, still painful
 
those ad/abductors things are great..have you realized taht your hips get fryed afterward? Cause i was walking all funny my first time doing them
