pullinbigs training log.

Rotten luck, cause I sure as hell know that you can squat that weight. Hope you had a good time at the meet, anyway.

it was full power but if you bomb on any of the lifts you are outta the meet.

as it stands now i have another push/pull planned for april.

there is another wpo qualifier in august in iowa that i may do instead of the seniors. vegas is very expensive for a 3 day weekend stay.

12/19/05 mon:
box squats touch and go (below parallel). Loose trainer, belt, knee warmers, 507# 3 x 3reps
leg press sumo stance, 1430# x 13 (had to barf)
add/abductors machine 230# 25ea.
cybex back attack 485# 2 x 15reps
static holds 405# 2sets for time dbl overhand
hook grip work 405# 10sec static hold
30 minutes low impact cardio

i will be squatting off the box for a long time to come. i have done several 3 lift meets and this is the first time i ever been called on depth, i started out in the usapl. the last 2 were clearly high. i just cut them short, no excuses. i was very disapointed but ended up helping several other lifters the rest of the day so i had a good time and learned some valuable info.

it was a good meet and i got to catch up with a lot of old friends i only see at meets. PLing is truly one of the greatest sports around these days. im honored to be a part of it.

wide as the platform is. we have a wide one.

back attack is sort of a good morning variation cept done on a machine designed just for that purpose. it totally smoked my lower back.

heres a couple pics of a different version of one. ours is similar, but instead of being upright its laid back about 30°. plus ours is not plate laoded. it is preloaded and you move the pin to add/sub weight.

that machine you have will torch your back side, use it often. its the same principal 69. plus that looks very similar to ours. if you run out of resistance add some bands.

sornix sells the true back attack for about 2500 bucks.

thanks bb amd mike.
