jujitsu/submission grappling.
2 hours.

my conditioning sucks for grappling, gonna have to get this up. i must say this is the most fun i have had training in a long time and i love heavy weight training. im a little beat up and sore but it feels nice. worked on a few basics, arm bar, triangle choke, take downs, sweeps, etc...., then we grappled for an hour off and on. i am lookng forward to next saturday already.
you do know that your to old for that shit dont you lol . represent us old geezers pb .
 
Did you go ever any guard techniques or perhaps passing guard knee to belly ?
Look at me already talking about it--damn cant wait for sept 1st :)

I will be incorporating Cleans and front squats in september once i hit the mats :)
 
great workout, i wonder how long it takes to put 980# in the leg press. most of the time i do 1x20reps , last time i did 440lbs and charging the press took me longer than the set itself, it was worth it because its really helping for my squats and all but it gets boring sometimes :p

band neck gm's, #5 + #3 band, 150 db's, 3 x 10reps
bb shrugs, 405# dbl overhand, 3 x 8reps
ghr, 3 sets
pull thrus, cable machine, stack + #4 band dbld, 2 x 10reps
seated cable low rows, v handle, 300# 2 x 8reps
 
its in my gym.

some of them are doing it with me. the others dont want no part of it.

i rolled with one of my trainin pards wednesday night after the practice portion of the class. he's 6' 5" 270lbs with abs. we rolled around til we both were winded as hell and stopped. fun stuff. i had him in a guillotine from my guard but he escaped and got my back and set his hooks. he attempted to choke me out for a couple of minutes til i fianlly escaped and ended up in his guard. i passed his guard breifly but he pulled me back to guard and thats were we ended. completely winded

i rolled with one of my coachs before that for several minutes til he arm barred me for the tap.

i rolled one other time that night with a guy that wrestled in high school. we scrambled breifly til i got his back and choked him out. took maybe 30 seconds.

we rollion again saturday at 4pm, i cant wait...... :D

did i mention that this stuff is FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
